Government gets Twitter (finally)
In reading about the various severe weather warnings due to the storm on the east coast, I came across the Delaware Emergency Management Agency’s Twitter account. It actually has had timely, useful information today during the storm and is a solid example of a great use of Twitter to distribute information.
The State of Delaware’s Twitter account, however is little more than an RSS feed it appears. They should take some pointers from the DEMA staff running their account.
